Terms of Use

These terms govern access to and use of the CareMyRide service at app.caremyride.com, operated by Underhood Tales SASU, 29 rue Vincent van Gogh, 78370 Plaisir, France.

By creating an account you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

1. WHAT THE SERVICE DOES

CareMyRide is a vehicle maintenance tracking tool. It lets you record vehicles, their service work, odometer readings, parts and invoices, and produce a history a third party can consult.

The service is intended for personal, non-professional use unless expressly agreed otherwise.

2. ACCESS

You must be at least eighteen and legally able to enter into a contract.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity carried out through your account.

3. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to use the service for unlawful purposes, not to attempt to disrupt it or circumvent its technical limits, and not to upload content you do not hold the rights to.

You also agree not to record third parties' personal data without a lawful basis. If you enter information about someone else's vehicle, you take responsibility for it.

Any abuse may lead to suspension or closure of the account.

4. YOUR CONTENT

You remain the owner of your content. You grant us only the right to host and process it in order to provide the service.

We verify neither the accuracy nor the lawfulness of what you record.

5. OPTICAL RECOGNITION

Automatic invoice reading is provided on a best-effort basis. Extracted data may be incomplete or wrong. You must check it before relying on it, particularly before sharing a history with a third party.

6. SERVICE INTERVALS

The service lets you set your own maintenance intervals and reminds you when they fall due. Those intervals are the ones you enter.

We provide no maintenance recommendations and cannot be held responsible for the consequences of servicing carried out on an unsuitable interval. Refer to the manufacturer's service schedule or to a professional.

7. HISTORY SHARING

You can generate a link giving access to a vehicle's history without authentication. You alone are responsible for distributing that link and for the information it exposes.

The history reflects what you entered. We certify neither its accuracy nor its completeness, and it is not a warranty as to the condition of the vehicle.

8. AVAILABILITY

We work to keep the service available but cannot guarantee it. Interruptions may occur for maintenance or for external reasons.

9. LIABILITY

The service is provided as is. We cannot be held liable for indirect damage, for data loss caused by improper use, or for decisions taken on the basis of the information recorded.

These limitations apply to the extent permitted by law and do not affect your rights under consumer law.

10. TERMINATION

You may delete your account at any time from the settings. Deletion is permanent.

We may suspend an account in the event of serious breach, with prior notice except in urgent cases.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first.

In accordance with the French consumer code provisions on consumer dispute mediation, after contacting us and failing a satisfactory answer, you may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator:
